We have a new favorite place to eat in Columbia! The smoked wings and the smoked burger were the best I have had anywhere. The full slab of ribs were outstanding as well. And I will tell you the portabello fries were off the chart great. A warning though. Do not get the philly unless you want something spicy. This was disappointing as my daughter ordered this at the suggestion of our server (she actually asked between three items which he would recommend) well she only ate one bite maybe two but could not eat any more because she cannot do spicy. A warning or the server saying it's spicy would have kept us from having any bad experience at all. I did try it as wel and it had some heat, but was good other than that. The rest of us were too stuffed to eat it so it didn't get eaten but again I am just saying this for a warning to other diners and it won't keep us away. In fact we have already told other mizzou parents about D. Rose's and plan on stopping here the next trip up.
